I finally got to see what one of my new pairs of glasses look like! The computer glasses came in today, which is good because they're the ones I really needed (I can see okay with the others for now, but the monitor was being blurry and text wasn't in focus). I think the steroids are definitely helping, because I'm in less pain today than I was yesterday, and hopefully tomorrow will be better. I'm continuing to take ibuprofen through the day because even if I can't feel it working, I'm hopeful it's doing something. I'm posting about this because it's bugging me, and I'm wondering if anyone out there has experienced something similar. On Thursday, I saw my opthamologist and got a new prescription for glasses.
